The 2018 edition of Taipei International Game Show is scheduled to open at the end of January 2018. The event will bring a series of “Player Zone” and “Business District” exhibitors and will also hold the Asia Pacific Games Summit simultaneously. The 16th Taipei International Game Show will be held from January 25 to January 29 at the TWTC Exhibition Hall 1. It has been announced that the 2018 edition will see Taipei Game Show feature “Games Unlimited” as the main theme of the event.

The Show is consists of two zones, the B2C Zone and the B2B Zone. The latter is open to game industry professionals on 25th and 26th January. The show is expecting a soaring number of foreign exhibitors and indie teams, with many upcoming games and award-winning games. “The Trade Visitor Pre-Registration System” opened earlier this month on the official website. Up to date, publishers and developers from more than 18 countries already confirmed their visits to TGS next January.

According to the organisers, the scale of the B2B zone has hit the record high with more than 250 game companies and indie teams participating and showcasing from home and aboard. INDIE GAME FESTA is an exchange platform specifically built for indie teams in the B2B zone. With the rising trend of indie games and proactive recruiting of the organizer, the INDIE GAME FESTA has become the largest indie game festival in Asia in recent years.
